Tune into Fox News (don't, actually) and you will see a steady stream of Trump sycophants alongside curious case of California Derangement Syndrome.

But here are some cold, hard FACTS Sean Hannity hasn't mentioned on his show yet.

💊 California is doing what NO state has ever done before — making our OWN prescription drug label to take on Big Pharma and drive down costs.

😮‍💨 California will now be the first state to provide ALL of our 10,000 public and charter schools with FREE emergency-use asthma inhalers.

👦🏼 A year of pre-school can cost families thousands. In California, we made it FREE.

🍎 Here in California we serve nearly ONE BILLION free school meals every year.

💸 We created FREE college & career savings accounts for millions of kids.

🎓 We have the finest system of higher education in the world -- a conveyor belt for talent like no other.

🧑‍🎓 Student achievement is up across every grade and every student group.

📈 Wall Street Journal reports: "California Draws More Startup Investment Than All Other 49 States Combined"

🔮 The future happens here first -- we are America's coming attraction.

💰 Middle class families in California pay LESS in taxes than in states like Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

🔬 We have more scientists, engineers, and Nobel laureates than any other state in this country.

☠️ Life expectancy, infant mortality, deaths of despair, wages and uninsured rates are all worse off in red states.

🤯 If Fox News reported the truth about California, their viewers heads would explode.

➗ The truth is, Fox News and Republicans fixate on the culture wars to divide us up and distract from the truth that on health, wealth, and economic outcomes they are failing America.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

Protect Social Security

I was surprised to see this meme on my sister-in-law’s Facebook page. She’s a Republican.

*****

I don’t care what side of the aisle you sit on, this is a fact.

Speaker Mike Johnson this is for you.

Concerning Social Security payments, my contributions were made for over 50 years on every salary I received. Those jobs may not have always been the work I wanted to be doing at the time,  BUT I always had a JOB. The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment?" I'll be part of the one percent to forward this.

I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it.

The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment." This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.

Congress took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a "benefit", as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.

Just because they borrowed the money doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!

Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.

Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.

99% of people won't cut and paste this to their timelines…..will you?

Please, for the sake of our country, copy & paste. It's one of the most important issues we are facing.

Congress had no right to take our social security  that we paid into for years and tell us that there will not be enough funds to pay us what is rightfully our money.  Congress needs to pay us what is rightfully our money  plus interest earned over all of the years as Congress stole our money for their use

Copied and pasted as I agree 100%.
